Today, a chapter in American Excellence nears completion with the last space shuttle launch taking place from Cape Canaveral. 
I was young when the first shuttle launch took place. I remember the grownups telling us kids how big a deal this was because we'd never been able to launch a space-ship of any sort over and over again.
The shuttle program gave the US a massive advantage in the Cold War and even the Soviets copied the shuttle design for their own space program as America prospered.
Now, debt ridden with Americans believing they can have something for nothing but that they have to give up everything to have it, President Obama presides over the deliberate destruction of American Exceptionalism and ingenuity. With the shuttle program being dismantled, Obama plans on Americans bumming rides from the Russians to service our military and communications infrastructure in space.
Where one thing ends - another starts....SOME one has to be on top - what will come after America? What country will come save the others who aren't free? And if we aren't free.....who will come save us?
