I really am wondering who are the 12% who think the country is headed in the right direction? Who are the 35% of whites who think Obama is doing a good job?

For those in Oregon (We don't have polling places here - you get your ballot in the mail - no polls - and no chance of corruption there!) here's instructions on how to vote if you don't get your ballot in the mail or goof something up.

Last time - I have about three signatures depending on what I sign and last time I signed my ballot with a different signature than I registered my vote with (probably first initials and last name). I got a letter stating my signature didn't match my registration - BUT - they counted my vote anyways.
Troubling?
On a couple fronts.
1) I'd expect them to say "This looks like voter fraud!" and call me concerned.
2) The republicans lost anyways so they figured they'd count it anyways because it wouldn't hurt anything.
3) Maybe they wanted me to feel good that they generouslly counted my mistake-made-ballot.
