ANIMALS COME BACK FROM EXTINCTION!!!! HOLY SKAMOCKAWAY!

Uh, this is bad for the evil human-hating conservationists. In their self-loathing of their own species which they would like to see extinct - meaning all humans except for the ones they like - along the lines of the same mentality of the National Organization of Women going ballistic on Harry Reid for saying a democrat woman was "hot" and calling it degrading to women while they completely ignore the degrading treatment to Christine O'Donnell and proclaim it acceptable with their silence - it appears conservationists are OVER estimating species that have been extinct.
Bikini Ball Maid - like a mermaid - but not quite - no one's ever
touched a Bikini Ball Maid through the ball.
Over estimating to the point that - one third are coming back from "extinction."

I'm attaching some photos of some creatures that are either rare, or have come back from extinction or are trying to eliminate themselves form the gene pool.

So I'm wondering what's the deal with the Loch Ness Monster?  Never been there, have friends who have.  Real?   Here we have Sasquatch - and I have several friends who have seen a Sasquatch - and there are caves near here that have evidence left behind of them - apparently they smell very very strong and move very quickly.

This doesn't help your prospects of propagating - not that it will kill you -
it just doesn't impress the ladies and improve your chances of mating.

Headstand Bull - very rare and likely to be extinct because they are easy
to kill in their defensive posture.

Yeah...I don't think moose can ride a bow wave like dolphins can
candidate for extinction.

Yeah....that's not a firefly....darwinism at work...may extinct itsself

The GIANT hummingbird is now extinct

81% of Nigerians will vote next year...according to CPNS

According to the ‘Current Pulse of Nation’s Survey’, a poll conducted by Research and Marketing Services (RMS), an affiliate of TNS Global, a market research company and Gallup International’s representative in the country, 81% of Nigerians are willing to vote in the forthcoming elections. The poll sampled 5000 respondents, aged 18 years and above, from across the country.

81% are willing to vote, but how many really will? When it comes to elections, more people say they will vote than they actually do! Like, I want to vote...but my problem is; will my vote be counted?

Naomi admits,

"I make many mistakes. Many mistakes. I'm not a perfect human being. I have to learn from my mistakes. And a lot of the ones I've made have been public.

"So I always get nervous when people speak about something that sounds like a role model, because I don't know if I've been a great role model myself. I don't think I have in certain aspects of my life.

"But I'm trying to do better. I admit to my mistakes. I admit to the things that I've done wrong. I admit it. But I'm trying to do right by myself and my life now."

New Independence N50 note Launched With 50th anniversary logo

So our Naija Govt yesterday, Wednesday 29, 2010, launched the redesigned N50 commemorative note and non-circulating coins (some coins are produced in 22 carat gold, others are gold plated silver.”) to mark the 50 years of Nigeria as an independent State. The new note is expected to exist side by side with the old one, while the coins will serve as souvenirs during the anniversary.

The new notes is obviously the same with the circulating N50. The only difference is the addition of the 50th anniversary logo, a gold iridescent band, and a goodwill message written in varnish.

Are these new notes necessary really?

More Money! James Bond Weapons! (Less Politics)

I'm taking a break from the usual political writing lately.

I also think  I screwed a bunch of subscribers to my blog over by deleting and re-installing the feedburner email subscription app.  Sorry about that if that happened to you!  I promise a full refund!

You can look for it on your next bill from Simplybecauseitis!

So - politics can only get so stupid and so corrupt when there's not much more to talk about.

Since Simplybecauseitis is "a tasteful touch of common sense, education and old fashioned values with the ocassional politically incorrect stab at the world we live in" and it's my blog that google is providing me for free in exchange for providing them with an income revenue by advertizing for them - I can write about what I pretty much want to.

SO!

I woke up this morning.

Annnnd Obama was still an idiot.

I did have an idea through the course of the day.  If evolution is a true principle then why are there democrats?  Isn't that regression?

But - I went to work on 3 hours of sleep because - well - one of my staff's son who's a gun carrier like I am shot at someone on their property breaking into their house or something like that and got arrested - so no sleep for me.

Long story short, Jen and I later had a bit of time together and went to a park and I whipped out my minelab exploerer II while she used the bathroom and I promptly found a penny buried a few inches down just outside the bathroom without even searching and then there was a dime on the top of the dirt - I think it was just starting to try to hide.  Money likes to bury itsself and then camoflage itsself by changing color to match the dirt.

Any rate, later we ended up with the kids at another park and - voila voici bene dozo voila deja! More money.

It was getting almost too easy.  EXCEPT I was getting annoyed with the roots in the park. Lots of tree roots all over the place.  One stupid bottle cap off a champaigne bottle disguised itsself as a coin and took a good 20 minutes of digging through the roots to determine it's true identity.  And I thought when I discovered what it was "Your're not money! You're an impostor!"

On an ADD note.  Ever notice in the old James Bond Films - if Mr. Bond is issued a weapon I guarantee you he's going to use it.

And if he uses it, he's never going to be completely successful with it and obliterate his enemy with it.  No.  He's going to spend 15 minutes demonstrating every capaibility of the weapon - including its inability to finish him off immediately with a single shot - before finally finishing him off.   I kind of think at the end of the James Bond movies there should be a coupon or advertizement where you can get the James Bond weapn what was used in the film and get a discount for buying it from the movie.  "Man Killing Ultralight! With Nuclear Missiles (plutonium warheads sold separately - must collect three movie stubs) SALE!  Buy now!"

I don't have much to say.  Just....nonsense in the world.  So I'm going to go to bed for now.

Anyways - here's an interesting account of what it's like being on METH!  Found it while reading up on what happened with my staff's son.

Why doesn't everyone use meth?  It's so wonderful! It feels so peaceful it should be legal!

*sigh* bedtime.

OH! And I only found 14 cents today.  Soon I hope to figure out gold and silver signatures on the minelab.

Something I Enjoy About Having Kids (Break from politics etc.)

posted by sooyup

You know, I've got two kids - and while kids are exceptionally demanding and tiring there are some benefits to having them.

One of them that I particularly enjoy is that they force me to see things in the world I've either forgotten or would otherwise miss.

For example, why just walk out to the car to go to work?  Did you know that the ten second walk to your car can actually take a good twenty minutes if done properly?  And that in the 50 feet between your front door and your car there is more nature and bugs and interesting dirt to be found than you've probably paid attention to in the last twenty years of your life?

Other things I enjoy?  Their world is simpler.  And so the things they enjoy are simpler.  TV.  Music.  Stories.

It's actually all a break.

I probably wouldn't watch Disney as much as I do were it not for them.  But instead, my house is full of Disney music and just a bunch of things I wouldn't see otherwise.

I know the day will come when my house is clean, sterile....empty.  For now piles of laundry, half finished art projects, cracker crumbs and kids toys grace everywhere I look.  The day will come when I will miss them.

For now, I get to appear like a genius on everything my kids ask me because they believe dad knows everything.  At this point they stump me ocassionally - not because I don't know the answer but I don't know how to explain it in a way they will understand.

So my 4 year old daughter already has to go to bed with the stereo on and her own style of music.  I enjoy it - I wouldn't have gotten to hear it otherwise.

For now - kids are a great break from all the other nonsense in this world.

School children kidnapped in Aba...WTF?

Fifteen students of Abayi International School, Aba, were on Monday morning abducted in their school bus in Abia State.

The driver of the bus had picked the children at designated points and was on the way to school when the suspected kidnappers struck. It is learnt that a Toyota Camry saloon car blocked the bus and the occupants, and men brandishing guns alighted and ordered it to stop.

“As the driver came down, the hoodlums collected his cell phone and ordered him to lie face down while they drove off with the pupils towards Etche in Rivers (State),” an eyewitness told NAN.

Most of the abducted students are said to be mostly nursery and primary school pupils.

Geoffrey Ogbonna speaking to the press moments after informed that he was yet to get any report on the incidence but later telling the BBC that efforts had been intensified to find the whereabouts of the children. The abductors have demanded a ransom of 20 million naira (128,900 dollars, 95,650 euros).

Naija’s music elite are celebrating Nigeria’s 50th anniversary of independence with the release of Rep 4 Nigeria - a stunning new urban anthem which celebrates the proud spirit of modern Nigeria.
Penned by Nigerian rapper and producer, Eldee, Rep 4 Nigeria is an original composition that features contemporary stars Naeto C, M.I and Sound Sultan.

Commissioned by MTV base (DStv Channel 322) as part of the celebrations for Nigerian independence, Rep 4 Nigeria is a call for young Nigerians to 'rep' their country and their area with pride. Each of the artists involved wrote their own verse, with R&B artist and ‘Naija Ninja’ Sound Sultan writing and performing the infectiously
catchy ‘hook’ and chorus.

The music video for Rep 4 Nigeria was directed by video ace Clarence Peters and filmed on location in Lagos, featuring Eldee, Naeto C, M.I and Sound Sultan. The music video will premiere on MTV base (DStv
Channel 322) on Monday 4 October before going on exclusive, A-list rotation on MTV base, guaranteeing at least 30 spins a week for the stirring track.

Commented Alex Okosi, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, MTV Networks Africa, “MTV Networks Africa is thrilled to be the catalyst in the creation of Rep 4 Nigeria, a poignant and inspirational track that shows Nigerian artists affirming their pride and optimism in the 50th anniversary of their nation.”

Music fans can watch the music video of Rep 4 Nigeria or download the track free of charge at www.mtvbase.com from 4 October 2010.
