I'm home today. Decided to take the rest of the week off 'cos the next couple of weeks will be crazy, especially after we have our magazine delivered to us. Did I tell y'all that we are planning another Style Night? Yeah, it's gonna happen before the year runs out. And the reality show is `almost` finally taking shape...so I'm taking all the rest I can now that I can...

Everyone says I should rest, but I don't like being idle so instead of resting, I'm blogging. I love blogging...so bite me :)

So to today's post, I'm sure you all have heard that some crazies tried to assasinate our Obama... They can only try.

Currently, the FBI is investigating claims of an alleged assassination plot against Presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

Four people were arrested near the Democratic convention in Denver. They were in possession of high-powered rifles.

Nathan Johnson (pictured above on the right), is denying any involvement in the plot, but he did admit that his friends "were here to do that - to assassinate him."
Apparently, the plan was to shoot Obama "from a high vantage point … with a … rifle."

This all came about on Sunday, when police arrested 28 year-old Tharin Gartrell (above left), who was erratically driving a rented pickup truck. That's where they found two high-powered rifles with telescopic sites. They also found walkie-talkies in his truck, along with camouflage clothing, a bulletproof vest, two wigs, a high-powered spotting scope, three IDs with unknown identities, and methamphetamine.

When Gartrell was accompanied to his hotel in Denver by the police, a second man, 33 year-old Shawn Robert Adolf, jumped out from a window and injured himself. He jumped from six-stories high.

Adolf broke his ankle after the fall, but was arrested shortly afterwards. He also had several outstanding warrants against him. And according to sources, he was also wearing a ring with a swastika on it and is believed to have connections to white supremacist organizations.
Johnson added that Gartell and Adolf "planned to kill Barack Obama at his acceptance speech." He said that his friends told him, Barack "don’t belong in political office – or blacks don’t belong in political office. He gotta be shot."

As for the fourth person arrested, it's an unidentified woman who was with Johnson though she is not believed to have any involvement with the plot, however other arrests are still a possibility.

US Attorney Troy Eid insisted that there was no clear danger to the candidates or convention delegates. Eid said in a recent statement, “Federal law enforcement is working hand-in-glove with the Aurora Police Department. Because this matter is currently under investigation, there is little we can say right now. We can say this: We’re absolutely confident there is no credible threat to the candidate, the Democratic National Convention, or the people of Colorado."

Dr Dre's 20yr old son found dead

The son of rap music legend Dr. Dre was found dead at his home in Woodland Hills on Saturday morning, according to reports. Andre Young Jr. was found when his mother went to check on him around 10 a.m.

The 20-year-old man was unresponsive, prompting his mother to call 911. The cause of death is unknown, pending completion of a toxicology report.

Andre Young Sr. - better known as “Dr. Dre” - is an award winning producer who gained fame and notoriety as a part of the influential gangsta rap group NWA. He later becoming co-owner of West Coast record label Death Row records. Dr. Dre is currently working on Detox, an album reputed to be his last.
