Xiao Mei, 23, of Benxi, Northeast China's Liaoning province, gets a massive tumor removed from behind her ear after it grew almost to the size of another head. Xiao was born with a small tumor on the back of the head, though the rapid tumor growth began two years ago.
Doctor's at Xinhua Hospital had to use a patch of skin from Xiao Mei's thigh to cover the scar left from the removal of the 1.8 kg tumor. Xiao is now recovering from the surgery.
