Should he resign? Hell's yeah. Anyone who isn't smart enough not to text their crotch to 250,000 people and then isn't smart enough to cover it up properly isn't smart enough to be in charge of our country, make laws others have to live by, have access to classified information or anything else.
Go to work at a stand-up show and let people stuff money in your bulge but stay the hell away from anything where you influence how others live in large numbers.
