The remarkably gifted rapper has announced that all is now set for the release of his second album.
According to the Rapper’s record label X3M Music, the upcoming autobiographical album will detail the events shaping OD’s life since the release of his last album ‘Don’t hate’. ‘And there’s definitely going to be a lot of talk about the word, wine and women on this album’ a spokesperson at the record label adds.
He’s got a lot of help too. In addition to known collaborators Mode 9, Terry tha Rapman, Sasha, Black Solo and AT, Overdose is also working with Producer Kraft, Ill Fingerz and Bernstein.
And there are talks of partnerships with a yet to be disclosed South African hiphop group.
A fresh single Alujo off the forthcoming album has now been premiered while the rapper hits location in Lagos and South Africa for a couple of videos.
Born David Adoga in Kaduna, Nigeria, OD embarked on his journey into the hip hop world in December 1998 and has worked with Pay Back Time Records and KD World Records. He worked briefly as an OAP in Rhythm FM Jos in 2008 before he finally pitched his tent with X3M music in 2009.
A new video titled “Wine in the glass” is scheduled to drop in a matter of weeks. The video will be directed by experts based in South Africa.
