But anyways, I saw this on www.grouchyoldcripple.com.  It reminded me of something I might have heard in the back country down south.

I have friends who's families were there for the civil war in India and they too tell a different story of Islam than the media and the Islamists would have us believe about them.   History is what it is.  By their fruits ye shall know them.  That in mind, there is good and bad - but where is the voice speaking out against all of this if Islam isn't all the bad things it also does?

On the one hand though, I do know there's a lot of ignorance about Islam - and I don't think that stoking religious bigotry is a very Christlike thing to do - on the other hand, I do think what we're told about Islam just isn't true.....

I guess I just put this up as a counterpoint view.... and a catchy tune to get stuck in your head....

I'm so glad I'm not black and don't have to deal with this crap, people saying I'm not "black enough" or whatnot because I don't subscribe to a certain point of view on racial issues.  Because I'm white, I don't call other white people on racial issues "not white enough" (what's that mean? They need to be albino?) - I just call them "morons."

I don't know that I've ever been accused of being "not white enough."  Heck, for us white folks, we got the opposite problem.  We get accused of being "Too White."   As in "White men can't jump."  "White men can't dance."  "White men can't sing."  Pick one.  Pick all three!  Make one up and add it to it!

Anyways, Herman Cain's got some black dude, Cornell Belcher, saying that the very successful CEO and business entrepreneur black-american Herman Cain is racist for saying black people are brainwashed into voting for Obama.



Well, I seem to recall the very successful actor and entertainer and cultural icon Bill Cosby saying something similar about blacks - and apparently Bill Cosby is racist as well.  Probably was a Grand Wizard in the KKK with that kind of talk about them getting an education and respecting themselves and learning proper english and being successsful.  Thought so....hmmmm.

Anyways, this guy Cornell Belcher looks all Malcom-X with his glasses but sounds like a castrati with his high-pitched squeaky voice in the news clip.  I wonder how the "black enough" community feels about him representing them and speaking out that they are NOT brainwashed? 


I thought Obama was going to eliminate racism in the US simply by being elected.

I don't know if he promised to or people simply assumed he would but whatever.  Y'all got suckered cuz you were brainwashed/guilted into voting for him.

As a religious man, I find this funny, only because I do find the zealousness of some of the evangelical protestants kind of amusing....and annoying.

Apparently Brad Paisley hasn't been neutered by Shaniah Twain's "Any Man Of Mine" song or attitude.  My wife showed this to me - and - well, yeah. It made me grin....I get ya on riding the bull thing, Brad.  I get ya.

I think society's beginning to accept the truth that men aren't just a bunch of woman-hating-oppressors, and that the fact that God made men and women different doesn't somehow cheat women while recognizing that men may actually have something to contribute to society, homes, families - that we're not only different, but essential - to society and to each other.

In the meantime, I think this is an amusing commentary on some relationships....

Under a treaty after the end of the War Between the States, the Cherokee Indian Tribe, which fought for the South, and owned slaves, was required to give tribal citizenship to the black slaves  it owned after the war and their descendants - whether they had Indian blood or not.

Yes, a minority was just as racist as the racist white man. 

The Cherokee's decided they didn't like the treaty recently and decided to change the rules and ousted them.

The US Government is telling the Indians they need to give citizenship back.

The Cherokees are saying "um, we make our own rules, you're not going to tell us what to do."   And why not?  They are a sovereign nation!

Ironically: Like the US Government is one to get all over an Indian tribe for not abiding by a treaty....since...that's how the Indians all ended up on reservations in the first place.

More ironically - its a democrat government who's in the middle of this -you know? Democrats?  The ones who support minorities? Yes, it's a democrat government telling one minority (Indians) what they have to do in regards to screwing another minority (Blacks).

Even MORE ironically - the head of the government who was overwhelmingly supported by minorities - is half white/half black.  Must be the white half of him doing this.

And even more ironic - or - consistent?  Of COURSE its blacks getting screwed.  Not the orientals.  Not Hispanics.  Etc, etc, etc. Blacks.  Ultimate racism.  The same ones who are ALWAYS screwed.  Bottom of the heap.  Heap big heap of heap big racism.

And, with a bit of a twist, if we put the media on "Spin Cycle" - we can even claim in a politically incorrect stab that of course its the blacks claiming they are entitled to something.

Now we know not all blacks are like this.  Just the ones who've been ousted in this instance.  But still....just a bunch of ironic observations.

I don't approve of the word Nigger, not because of the word its self but because so many people have a problem with it, including my sister in law storming out of my house once (She's white) and called me a "douchebag" (is that offensive?) over the use of it, and honestly, I think there's better things I can say.  BE THAT AS IT MAY.....if you're going to say it?  Just say it....have the balls to at least call it what it is......I'm waiting for Huckleberry Finn to come out redacted to say "n word Jim" in refrerence to Huck's friend.

I have a friend from college who's gay and his boyfriend is a judge here in Oregon - and - for what it is worth - Danny completely opposes gay pride parades as passing displays of perversion not pride and is totally someone I can hang with.  He's opposed to liberalism with its pot smoking faux intellectualism and hypocrisy - so - FOR THE RECORD - this isn't a stab at homosexuality itsself - this is a politically incorrect stab at the movement that itself has no problems being politically incorrect.

A man who was calling for the assassination of Obama has been upheld by the 9th circus court as constitutionally protected free speech.

I don't agree with assassinations, they undermine democracy, but my feelings are pretty passionate on the Bamster.

This president's been so babied on account of his race. Even he can't even handle being black nor can the media (Don't mention he's black) that I thought free speech was dead in this country - never mind a friggin movie was made about the assassination of George Bush.

Come ON people!  You kno this! You can't call for the death of colored people, even if its for a good reason, but its okay to call for the death of white people by colored people because the colored activists want to be equal and have the same rights....wait...what?.

The only good thing I see coming out of this man's presidency is the race card is about dead in this country and people know it on both sides of the issue.


Me?  I just hope he gets food poisoning from guacamole or something and spends the rest of his presidency crapping on the toilet so he can't even campaign to do any damage......

I found a great thought I just liked about the "middle ages" about women - (womenism?)  Feminism!

In the middle ages women were regarded and respected, and it noted that even Joan of Arc was given command of the entire French Army and that her down fall was political, not gender based, but anyways, there was also Elizabeth I of England......and others.  ANYWAYS, Chivalry required the utmost regard for women and held the saying that men and women were "Equal in dignity, different in function" whereas today it is "equal in dignity and function" (such an abomination).  

I try to imagine someone from the 1800's being alive in our day and wondering what they would think.....

Where I get my underwear in a wad is that in our fine fine US Military, women serve in so many front line positions in BATTLE and WAR (Fighter Pilots, front line ships, law enforcement and more!) but they have differing physical standards because women aren't expected to be as physically adept as men.....wait....WHAT?  We're going to war where speed, agility and prowess matter, and women are equal but don't have to have the same speed, agility or prowess as their male counterparts but are expected to do the job and keep their male colleagues safe?    I wonder if openly serving homosexuals will have differing physical standards as well......will they be girly men and manly women? I.E. male homosexuals will only have to do 5 pushups and run a 1/4 mile, whereas lesbians will have to (and probably volunteer to do) 500 pushups and run a 20 mile marathon for their physical fitness test which will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and on every federal holiday and get free testosterone and steroid injections from their local military pharmacist....

And yes I served with lesbians and homosexuals in the military....the lesbians all outranked me and I secretly think they were men while the homosexuals were nearly killed by the marines and I arrested two for giving each other head in the base gym at 2am and had to administer a breathalyzer after that and have them blow in my little handy computer and make sure I didn't touch the little plastic tube thingy they blew in.......

Rush nails the media to the wall again, had the Casey Anthony death been an abortion, the mother would have been a hero. 

Abortion is brutal.  I went to an abortion clinic for a day during my undergrad studies to put my money where my mouth is and see first hand the people who did it.  I didn't go in to watch abortions, but just being there and watching mothers go in and childless women come out was horrific.

I'm thinking of what some people might think given the positions I've held or might hold in this world given how I talk.

For what it's worth, I'm not running for president, nor am I running for Prophet or anything else like that.  Just a private citizen making his way in the world, a dad doing his best - if you got time to judge me - I think you got too much time on your hands.

I do use words like "Retarded" or "homo" or "faggy" to describe things that annoy me.  Why? Because the first amendment says I can - if there weren't retarded, homo or faggy things in this world that came up in conversation, I probably wouldn't need to describe them thusly! 

DONT STEP ON ANY EGG SHELLS!!!!

I grow tired of living in a world that shouts "DIVERSITY!" and "TOLERANCE!" yet can't make way to be tolerant of the diversity of a person such as myself.  I'm quite diverse in today's world.  I haven't cowed to the PC-isms that infiltrate our universities and media, yet I can speak the language and work within the realm of ideas - but grow oh-so-weary of leaders who are so fragile on their high, but narrow pedastal on which they barely have good footing on it so that a softly spoken word strongly exhaled would be enough to knock them down from their post......

There's a time and a place for it all, certain audiences and the like - but my blog's not the place for PC. New Yorkers Celebrating the Repeal

New York bravely Legalizes the ignorance of the laws of gravity!   Thousands of Gravity-Denying New Yorkers in celebration jumped off the Empire State Building to celebrate the repeal and....well....the rest is history.

Okay, actually they legalized gay marriage.  It is now "The Same" and "equal" to "heterosexual marriage" - or is it just...."marriage"?

I wish I had something wittier to say, but the short of it is, it's not equal.

I'm wondering in our constitutional sense, where gay-marriage,

forms a more perfect union
establishes justice
ensures domestic tranquility
provides for the common defense
promote the general welfare
and secures the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.

Yes, everything's the same....nothing's different....yet its all diverse as well....diversely the same....
