I saw the headline and kinda got all excited about the idea of an escalator breaking and sending people "flying" - I thought maybe the overspeed trip (if escalators have them) stopped working and it went so fast it was "launching" people into the air at the end - but no - the brake failed and people were flying down....I was hoping there was a video of people going airborne at the end of the escalator from a security cam or something.....and maybe it was the first ever escalator installed at the nuclear facilities in Iran or something and I could see some flying terrorists......ah well. I can dream.....or smirk anyways.
Well....now I'll never ride an escalator without thinking of going airborne at the end though now.....
