Today - I will participate in overthrowing this stupid communist regime that seeks to destroy our constitution and freedom.
I'm going to go cast my ballot here in a bit.
I live in one of the more difficult sectors to launch the ballot-box assault in - congressional district one. We will see what impact our efforts have today. If we elect a republican governor - that will be amazing - and you've read my commentary on that one - and hopefully this is the end for Rape-resentative Wu - but he's been a difficult one to take down because.....we have a bunch of pot-heads who live and vote in Portland.
My sister in law, I love her, but I was about to (mentally in my mind) smack her with a pan while she was in the kitchen yesterday for saying she couldn't vote a straight republican ticket on the ballot and she would have to look at the issues. I was all "facepalm" and about had an aneurysm. Our freedoms are under assault in this country, we haven't been sold a straight bill of goods in this entire process - examining the issues will do nothing - you have to vote ideology, principles and values in this one - we got lied to on every single issue this last time around.
Anyways, I'm hoping Wu goes down, and hoping to prepare to anticipate to begin to think we might expect to see Dudley win the governors race as a republican governor. Only problem is that Oregon, as soon as things are peachy goes back to being a democrat. Like we run back to our idiot roots or something.
Although, again, for what it's worth, Portland is a nice area in terms of people to live. I've heard people from around the world remark how the place is unreal in terms of how nice people are - even arguments and disagreements are unbelievably civil. I've heard people from Europe and places like Chicago and such remark it's like we don't live in the "real world" and live in some utopian-polite-microcosm.
Anyways - I'm off to attempt to help change American History - and at the least - to add my voice to it all.
