I actually can't stand one thing about my second job because the news is almost always on - I can take fox news but the local teleprompter chimps who are so full of themselves because "IM ON TV LOOKIT MOM IM ON TV I CAN TALK REALLY GOOD!" really make me want to claw my eyes out. For example, tonight, there was a report about some beluga whale that paints paintings and the paintings are for sale on ebay from seaworld or some ca-ca like that. Neat but, for those of you who have lived in the U.S. for any period of time and remember anything sensational, there were painting elephants back in 2000! Actually I think it began back in the 1990's or even 1980's. Before that were coloring gorillas.

SO NOW - I think this illustrates very well what goes on with the news - it really isn't news. It's all an attempt to sell news and a popularity contest even if it means recycling old stuff that happened a long time ago while pretending its new (hence the term new-s as in new things) when it's been done a million times over. At least this time they aren't trying to scare me...I dunno....belugas painting? Kinda scary.....anyways. WHICH is why I formed a blog, to share with those interested the things others won't report. I think this was MSNBC though in the below video.
