New date and venue for IT TAKES YOU book launch

So we have changed the venue and date for my book launch.
It was initially scheduled for Wednesday 5th May 2010 @Genesis Deluxe Cinema at the Palms but due...due to what sef? A lot of protest from  invited guests friends. They didn't like the venue and day - for a book launch.

"A book launch at a cinema hall Linda? Are you alright?"

"Of course I'm alright. It was the most ideal cheapest venue I could find"

"And on a Wednesday Linda? Are you for real?"

"Of course I'm for real, that was the cheapest day I could find" lol "I'm trying to raise money, not spend it!"

But after so much protest, I had to move it.
The new venue I found was almost three times more expensive than the cinema, so guess what I did?

I appproached a few of my clients, told them about the launch and proposed they brand the venue and pay me for it. Two of them agreed. Yay!!! Like I said, I'm trying to raise money, not spend it! :-)

So my book launch is being sponsored by Multisheen Cosmetics and Recare Cosmetics, makers of Natures Gentle Touch. So grateful and thankful.

Venue: Terra Culture, plot 1376 Tiamiyu Savage Street, off Ahamadu Bello Str., Victoria Island
Date: Friday 7th May 2010
Time: 5pm prompt


Important notice: Everyone is invited!!! There will be no security at the gate. Hmmm? Ok, there will be... but no one will be checking for IV's or anything like that. So please just come and get a copy of the book hang with us!

Finally, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped in promoting this book on their blogs, websites, newspapers, magazines, etc. I'm very grateful.

BTW, the book signing is still happening @The Hub Media Store, The Palms, Lekki, on Saturday May 8th. I will be there from 12 noon.
