Democrats, tired of being beat up and berated by Obama about how poorly congress is doing, started whining about it recently.
“It’s a point of great contention with the Democrats in Congress that feel like we’re doing an awful lot to support his agenda,” Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) told POLITICO on Wednesday. “And it’s very discouraging, disheartening and it’s really not fair. He may just want to keep that up, but it doesn’t help his relations with the Democratic members of Congress at all.”
Lemme ask you this: What else are they going to do? Become Republicans?
Seeings how they don't know how to do anything else and wouldn't even think of being something other than a Democrat, I don't know what their relationship has to do with anything. They all want the same thing. This is just Mary Landrieu whining.
On a similar note, here's Obama:
“If they don’t get it done, then we’ll be running against a Congress that’s not doing anything for the American people, and the choice will be very stark and will be very clear,” (Obama in Iowa last month).
This is so nonsensical to almost not even be worth commenting on - other than to note he said it.
What's he going to do? Appoint czars to remove congress? If you can't govern with congress...and you're the president....wait, why would we want you in charge again? Wow....this is almost schizophrenic if you ask me.
