25 Political Parties Agree on Party Alliance

A Coalition of 25 Political Parties is in the offing to form an alliance that will rival and wrestle power from the ruling People's Democratic Party.
The leaders of the opposition at a meeting in Lagos yesterday October 19, told newsmen they would be meeting late October to work out an action plan for the alliance.

Former governor of Lagos state, Alhaji Lateef Jakande and chairman of social democratic mega party, Professor Pat Utomi said the parties decided to put aside their individual aspirations and work for the common good.
